نتایج دور دوم

دور دوم مسابقات بیلبائو یکی از هیجانترین مسابقات با دو بازی حساس را به دنبال داشت. این دور باز هم نوار ناکامیهای کارلسن ادامه پیدا کرد او در حالیکه در بازی با آناند به یک آخر بازی تحت کنترل و برنده دست یافته بود اشتباه نهایی را انجام داد و دیگر نتوانست از شکست بگریزد.نفر اول ریتینگ جهانی هم اکنون در وضعیتی به مراتب بحرانی قرار دارد چرا که پس از نمایش بازیهای ضعیف در المپیاد شطرنج و شکست دور اول از فرم مطلوب به دور افتاده است و این در حالیست که او بلافاصله پس از این بازی راهی چین جهت شرکت در مسابقات نانجینگ است.

33.Nc5?!While not losing per se, this puts white in hot water and borderline lost. 33.d5 was the simplest and best. 33...Bc8 34.g4 (34.d6? در بازی دیگر دور دوم بیلبائو ولادیمیر کرامنیک که اینروزها در شرایط مطلوب روحی قرار دارد به دومین پیروزی پیاپی خود دست یافت.او اینبار و برای دومین بار متوالی با مهره سفید به مصاف آلکسی شیروف رفت.بازی در دفاع اسلاو ادامه یافت، شیروف سعی کرد تا فیل سفید رو حریف را وادار به تعویض کند و همین امر او را از گسترش غافل کرد به طوریکه کرامنیک ابتکار عمل را دست گرفت و در وضعیتی برنده قرار گرفت.حال آلکسی شیروف با دو گزینه روبرو بود یا می بایست برای نیم امتیاز بجنگد و یا اینکه بر غرور خود پای بگذارد و  بازی را خیلی زود واگذار کند.

کرامنیک به دومین پیروزی پیاپی خود در این مسابقات در برابر شیروف دست یافت

12...Na5Shirov embarks on a bishop hunt with both his knights. It is truly strange seeing such a strong player spurn his development this way. 13.Ba2 Nb4?

14.d5!Since black was kind enough to unlock the d-file, white graciously accepts. 14...Nxa2 15.Rxa2 Bf6 16.dxe6.

16...Qe7?Whether despair or going for broke, black had to just accept his lumps and play 16...Qe8 17.exf7+ Qxf7 18.Nd5 Re8 19.Be3 Be6 and begin the long fight for the draw. 17.Nd5 Qxe6 18.b4 Nc6 19.b5 Ne5 20.Nc7White wins the exchange and the ensuing endgame is won, especially in the hands of Kramnik. 20...Nxf3+ 21.gxf3 Qxe2 22.Rxe2.
